Samanda René, a native of Brooklyn, New York, made one of the biggest decisions in her life to start her own business.  As a young girl, she attended many family functions such as Baptisms, Communions, Confirmations, Graduations, Weddings, Birthday parties and similar festivities.  She noticed that at the end of most of these events the guests would always leave with a keepsake.

Besides Samanda’s "nine-to-five job", in her free time she would help family and friends by creating party favors and chocolate covered designed candies for them.  The more she did it, the more she loved it.

What happened next?  Some family and friends loved her work so much that they shared their feelings with her.  At first, Samanda did not give it much thought.  She was just doing this to help out her family and friends --- let’s call it, her generous contribution for the event.  Samanda truly loved her creations and especially appreciated that the people were delighted with her favors/keepsakes.
